Mangalwar Vrat Katha
Hanumanji is considered the ideal god of valor, strength, service, and devotion. For this reason, Hanumanji is also called Sakal gun nidhan in the Puranas. Goswami Tulsidas has also written that- 'Charo Jug Pratap Tumhara Hai Parishdha Jagat Ujiyara.' The meaning of this chapati is that Hanumanji is the only god who will be present in every era as a troubleshooter for the world with some form or the other of qualities. It is said in the scriptures that by serving Hanumanji and keeping his fast, his special blessings remain on his devotees.

Mangalwar ki Katha
┬а
It is a matter of ancient times that a Brahmin couple lived in a city. They were very sad because they had no Child. Every Tuesday the Brahmin used to go to the forest to worship Lord Hanuman. After worshipping, he used to pray to Bajrangbali for a son. His wife also used to keep a fast on Tuesday to have a son. At the end of the fast on Tuesday, she used to eat only after offering food to Hanuman Ji.
Once on the day of the fast, the Brahmini could not cook food and could not offer it to Hanuman ji. Then she vowed that she would eat food only after offering it to Hanuman ji on the next Tuesday. She remained hungry and thirsty for six days. On Tuesday, she fainted. Hanuman Ji was pleased to see her devotion and faith. He blessed Brahmini and gave her a son and said that he would serve you a lot.
The Brahmin was very happy to get the child. She named the child Mangal. After some time, when the Brahmin came home, he saw the child and asked who he was. The wife said that Hanuman ji had given her this child after being pleased with the Tuesday fast. Hearing this, the Brahmin did not believe his wife. One day, getting a chance, the Brahmin dropped the child in the well. On returning home, the Brahmini asked where is Mangal?
Then Mangal came smiling from behind. The Brahmin was shocked to see him back. That very night, Bajrangbali appeared in the Brahmin's dream and told him that he had given him this son. The Brahmin was very happy to know the truth. After this, the Brahmin couple started keeping Tuesday fast regularly. Hanuman ji bestows immense blessings on the person who keeps fast on Tuesday.

Why Is Tuesday Considered The Day Of Bajrangbali?
┬а
According to mythological beliefs and the incident mentioned in Skanda Purana, Bajrangbali was born on Tuesday. This is why this day is dedicated to his worship and fasting for him removes all kinds of troubles and problems from life. This is why Hanumanji is also called Sankatmochak. It is also believed that Mars is also related to Hanumanji, so Hanumanji is worshipped on Tuesday. Fasting on this day and reciting Sundarkand also removes the inauspicious effects of Mars.
