Parivartini Ekadashi Fasting Story

┬а

The story of Vamana's incarnation of Lord Vishnu is heard on the occasion of Variti Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu took the test of King Bali in his Vamanavatar. King Bali had taken control over all the three worlds, but one of his qualities in him was that he did not send any Brahmin empty-handed, he definitely gave charity to him. The demon Guru Shukracharya also made him aware of the tricks of Lord Vishnu, but despite his sacrifice, he promised to give three steps of land to Lord Vishnu in the form of Vamana. Then in two steps, Lord Vishnu measured all the worlds, there was nothing left for the third step, so Bali, fulfilling his promise, placed his head under his foot. By the grace of Lord Vishnu, Bali started living in Hades, but at the same time, he had also promised Lord Vishnu to stay with him.
