Rishi Panchami is a festival celebrated to honor the saints of India. The fast of Rishi Panchami is observed every year on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. The festival of Rishi Panchami is mainly dedicated to seven saints revered as Saptarishi. People also know Rishi Panchami by the name of Guru Panchami.
