Krishna Avatar Relationship with Moon According to Astrology

The beauty and grace of Lord Krishna are immense. It is interesting to note that Lord Krishna was born in the Rohini Nakshatra which falls under the Moon in Taurus – and this is where the Moon is exalted! Praying to Krishna helps in uplifting the lunar energy needed in life. He is also worshiped as the eighth embodiment of Lord Vishnu and as the supreme deity in his own right. He is the god of protection, compassion, tenderness, and love; and is the most popular and widely revered of the gods.

Krishna relates to the great planet Moon in terms of beauty, happiness, love, and devotion, for which Krishna is famous. He was also the great prince of the Chandra dynasty. Like Moon, Krishna has great popularity and the ability to move masses.

Krishna Avatar: Most Favorite Lord

Lord Krishna was born as the son of Devaki and Vasudeva in Dwapara Yuga. But he was brought up by Nanda and Yashoda.

In Dwapara Yuga, the demon-like king Kansa ruled the kingdom of Mathura by imprisoning his father and King Ugrasen. He became very powerful and the people on earth as well as the Devas had to suffer a lot under his tyrannical rule. Inspired by the sincere prayers of the victims, Lord Vishnu decided to take birth in human form and annihilate Kansa.

King Kansa was warned by his astrologers that he would die because of the eighth son of his cousin Devaki. To prevent this from happening, Kansa arrested Devaki and her husband Vasudeva and imprisoned them in his prison.

Krishna was instrumental in killing Kansa and Shishupala, the third and final type of Jaya and Vijaya. Krishna was also a cousin of the Pandavas and went on as their companion, scholar, guide, and friend in need. Lord Krishna was the peace messenger in the court of King Dhritarashtra after the ex-communication of the Pandavas. He was Arjuna's charioteer in the extraordinary battle of Kurukshetra.

Krishna's Connections with the Moon

No one else is practically equal to the excellence and grandeur of Lord Krishna. It is interesting to note that Krishna was born in the Rohini Nakshatra which falls under the Moon sign of Taurus – and this is where the Moon is raised! Rohini Nakshatra is ruled by Brahma who is the creator of this universe and is under the influence of the Moon.

According to Vedic astrology, Moon is considered to be the most important planet in the birth chart because of its influence on human beings and all living beings. Lagna or Lagna is the most powerful house in the horoscope. Moon plays an important role in the field of astrology while predicting human destiny. The Moon is so important that the horoscope is also considered from the Moon, it is called Chandra Lagna.

A strong moon in a horoscope gives a pleasing personality with a strong mind. Worshiping the moon removes mental stress and spreads happiness. The mind becomes restless due to a weak Moon.

Conclusion

If the Moon is exalted or in Mooltrikon, it gives auspicious results. Even if there is a sight of auspicious planets on the Moon, it gives auspicious results. With the presence of a strong Moon, a person is usually at peace and achieves success in everything he does. He attains success especially when he is associated with a fluid or white-colored pearl gem. If there is a vision of inauspicious planets or if it is in debilitated or enemy sign, then the Moon is weak. To get the auspicious sight of the moon, talk to an astrologer to know in detail about the constellations included in your horoscope and the specific gems associated with the moon.
